SD: Welcome to KIDZ News at noon. I’m your anchor Sunny Days and here at KIDZ TV we have certain rules that our viewing audience must abide by, so before we get started I need help with the rules of the KIDZ TV. (take the audience’s answers and fill in what they miss from the list)

  1. Please keep your feet and hands to yourself.

  2. Please raise your hand if you have something to say.

  3. Please do not talk while someone else is talking.

  4. When anyone up here raises their hand and forms a fist (do so) everybody else raises their hand and gets real quiet. Lets try it and don’t try to be the last one talking. (raise your hand and watch as the whole place goes quiet without a word).

(open with a prayer if desired)

And this just in. We have a report from our field journalist Justin Time who has a breaking story for us. Justin, are you there?

PER1: Hello, Justin.
JS: I’m out on the streets looking for people who are givers.
PER2: Well, it’s just us.
PER1: Yeh, and we’re picking up trash.
JS: Do you do this often?
PER1: When it needs it.
JS: How often is that?
PER2: Oh, once ever couple of weeks.
JS: Is it just you two?
PER1: No, the whole neighborhood helps when they can.
JS: What do you do with the trash?
PER2: We recycle what we can.
JS: Okay.
PER1: Sometimes we find stuff other people can use.
PER2: We donate those things to a local charity.
JS: That’s very nice.
PER2: Thank you.
JS: So…
SD: Justin we need to take a short break.
JS: Okay, Sunny, back to you.

(A3 take a microphone and go out to your audience and ask a few of them, “What ways are there to give?” Return to your seat after a few answers.)

P1: You were right. We always get great answers.
A3: Absolutely. And as always, everyone did great.
P1: So remember what we learned about giving.
A3: That’s right.
P1: No matter if you want to hide your money.
