BRUTAL MURDER CASE SOLVED: PARAMOUR ARRESTED FOR KILLING HIS MISTRESS
With the arrest of one, Tarun Kherajwani (age 23 years) s/o Sh. Thakur Dass r/o B-77B, Kailash Vihar, Pansali, Prahladpur, Delhi, the staff of PS Prashant Vihar, Outer District has solved a sensational murder case of a lady namely Radha kapoor (aged 32 years), w/o Kamal Kapoor r/o A-253, Shastri Nagar, Delhi who was murdered brutally in the bushes near Gate No.1, Japanese Park, Rohini, Delhi.  
BRIEF FACTS:
On 14.07.2010, an information was received at PS Prashant Vihar regarding a dead body of female, lying in Japanese Park, Sec-10 Rohini, Delhi, which was lodged vide DD No. 11A dated 14.7.10 and marked to ASI Ishwar Singh for necessary action, who rushed at the spot and found a female dead body aged about 32-33 years in bushes near gate no 1 Japanese Park. On receiving the information SHO/Prashant Vihar and ACP/Prashant Vihar also reached at the spot immediately. Crime team was called and inspection was got conducted and photographs were taken. During the inspection of dead body it was found that a chunni was tied around her neck. Some injuries were also noticed on her face and head. Her belongings were also found lying along with body. Through sincere efforts, the dead body was identified as Radha Kapoor w/o Kamal Kapoor r/o A-253, Shastri Nagar, Delhi. She was running a boutique and beauty parlour in the name and style of ‘Diksha’ at Shastri Nagar. A case vide FIR No. 271/10 dated 14.7.2010 u/s 302-IPC, P.S. Prashant Vihar was registered and investigation taken up.  
TEAM AND INVESTIGATION

Seeing the gravity of crime, immediately a team consisting of SI Bineet Pandey, PSI Sandeep, ASI Ishwar Singh, HC Om Parkash, Constables Sunil, Manjunath and Bijender was constituted under the leadership and supervision of Insp. Sudhir Kumar, SHO/Prashant Vihar and Shri Sukhbir Singh, ACP/Prashant Vihar. The team immediately swung into the action and develop information about the movement of the deceased on the day of incident.


It was revealed that on 13.07.2010, she left her beauty parlour at about 11.30 am after receiving a call on her mobile phone. It was also found that she was having some extra-marital relation with one Tarun, who used to work with her in a private company 4 years ago. Due to this affair, she had developed sour relations with her husband. The deceased was having two 10 and 6 years old girl children. The investigating team worked on this angle and developed information through various sources. It was revealed that Tarun was accompanying her on 13.07.2010. It was also noticed that after the incident Tarun was absconding from his

house. Vigorous efforts were made to trace him out and ultimately he was apprehended while he had come to catch the metro at Rohini West Metro Station.


INTERROGATION:

During interrogation accused Tarun disclosed that he had developed illicit relation with Radha Kapoor and he wanted to marry her. He was continuously forcing Radha to abandon her family but she was not ready for the same. Due to this their relation turned edgy and the lady started ignoring her paramour. Accused Tarun was very much upset due to the ignorance by her and he planned to eliminate Radha as he could not tolerate Radha staying with her husband and family. As per the planning, on 13.7.2010 Tarun called Radha at Japanese park Rohini on the pretext that he would settle all the matter with her.. When Radha came there, he insisted her again to leave her entire family. On denial, he offered her to come with her children but she did not agree. On this, he took her in the bushes and started beating her. She also resisted and in that course they both fell down on the bushes, where he strangulating her with the help of her chunni. His revenge was so dreadful that after killing his beloved, he brutally hit the face and head with stone. In this course, the accused also sustained brushes and abrasions on his neck and arms. After the incident, he left the place.


PROFILE:

The Accused Tarun studied up to 10th pass from open school. He was working as a salesman in a Bata Showroom in Rohini. His father had abandoned his mother since his childhood and he was brought up by his mother and maternal grand father. He is unmarried. He was not found involved in any criminal case previously.


ACCUSED ARRESTED:
Tarun Kherajwani S/o Sh. Thakur Dass R/O B -77B , Kailash Vihar, Panshali, Parhladpur, Delhi.

ACTION TAKEN:

A case vide FIR No. 271/10 dated 14.7.2010 u/s 302-IPC, P.S. Prashant Vihar was registered. The arrest accused is being produced the court.


RECOVERY

Blood stained stone (concrete tile) has been recovered at the instance of accused Tarun, which was used for hitting the deceased.

REWARDED AND WANTED SHARP SHOOTER IN DOUBLE MURDER CASE OF LONI (U.P.) : ARRESTED
Chahat s/o Shri Dharamver r/o Vill. Rajpur, Loni, Distt, Gaziabad,U.P., the sharp shooter, carrying a reward of Rs. 5000/- from SSP/ Gaziabad , (U.P.) ,wanted in case FIR No. 571/10 u/s 302/120-B IPC PS Loni in double murder case of Sanjeev @ Tota and Prakash Chand Khanna , of PS. Loni, Distt. Gaziabad U.P., was arrested by AATS/NE and recovered one country made pistol loaded along with one live cartridge from his possession.
TEAM AND INCIDENT
A double murder was occurred in the area of Dhari pur Mod, Loni, in which dead bodies of Sanjeev Sharma @ Tota and Prakash Chand Khanna were found in a car after sustaining gun shot injuries. During investigation by U.P. Police, the four accused persons have already been arrested and Chahat was absconding, on which SSP/Gaziabad had declared a reward of Rs 5000/- for his arrest.
On a secret information under the supervision of ACP/Operation /NE Shri Syed Shakir Hasan and under the close supervision of Insp Arun Chauhan AATS/NE and SI Lokendra a team comprising of SI Shelendra , Hc Pramod No.753/NE and Ct Narendra No. 573/NE , Ct Satendra 994/NE and Ct Rajeev 980/NE, was constituted and the accused Chahat s/o Shri Dharamver r/o Vill. Rajpur, Loni, Distt, Gaziabad,U.P., was arrested from Metro Wall, Shastri Park , Seelampur and one country made pistol loaded along with one live cartridge was also recovered.
INTERROGATION
On interrogation, he disclosed his role in the murder case along with his associates.

SENSATIONAL ROBBERY CASE OF C.R. PARK IN WHICH Rs.13 LACS WERE ROBBED, SOLVED : TWO DESPERATE ROBBERS ARRESTED
With the arrest of two desperate robbers, the South District Police has solved sensational robbery case of C.R.Park in which Rs.13 lacs in cash belonging to M/s Kanti Telecommunication, Sant nagar were robbed in the month of April, 2010. One laptop snatched from the area of P.S Sarojni Nagar, two Motorcycles including the one being riden at the time of arrest which they had bought from the booty earned from C.R Park robbery and five mobile phones have been recovered from them.
ACCUSED ARRESTED:


  1. Rajan age 24 years s/o Late Sh. Hayat Singh r/o H.No. 125 Malli Tal, Nanital, Uttrakhand, Presently Vegabond in Delhi.




  1. Beer Singh @ Babu age 22 years s/o Tara Singh r/o Jhuggi No. D-399 Navjeewan Camp Govind Puri.


INCIDENT & TEAM:
Several incidents of snatching by unscrupulous youths in various areas of Delhi were being reported. Victims were mostly pedestrians who were walking towards their homes in the night and were robbed of their personal belonging like cash in their wallets, mobile phones, Laptop etc.

In the month of April 2010, Rajan alongwith Billoo, Manu Thapa, Mintoo @ Mustafa and other accomplices robbed Rs.13 Lacs cash from an employee of M/s Kanti Telecommunication, 70, Sant Nagar, New Delhi.
On 10.07.2010, both these accused alongwith one of their accomplices snatched one laptop from Bhuwan Chand, Accountant of Durga Traders, Laxmibai Nagar, New Delhi.
In the month of April 2010, they had stolen one Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle from the area of Kotla Mubarakpur.


In order to prevent these incidents and to nab the criminals involved in these incidents, various police teams were formed in South District. A special police team comprising of SI Sunil Kumar, HC Bijender, HC Ramesh, HC Narender, HC Mukesh, Constable Jagdish and Constable Satish under the supervision of Inspr. Ajay Vedwal, SHO/K.M Pur and Shri Vikramjeet Singh, ACP/Defence Colony was also formed to nab the culprits.
INVESTIGATION:
The team members met several victims and studied the modus-operandi of the gang. Portraits of the accused person was also developed in the mind after examining the victims. It was also learnt that one of the accused of similar stature was involved in sensational broad daylight robbery reported in P.S C.R Park. After deploying sources and extensive search work, it was revealed that the said gang used to appear after the gap of 4-5 days, wait near bus stand S.J Hospital or park beneath AIIMS Flyover, act upon their victims and disappear. Several traps were laid to apprehend these accused and on finally on 14.07.2010 both the accused were apprehended from the area of Kidwai Nagar East.
INTERROGATION:
During interrogation, it was revealed that both these accused alongwith their other accomplices have committed several sensational crimes in various parts of Delhi.


  • In the month of April 2010, Rajan alongwith Billoo, Manu Thapa, Mintoo @ Mustafa and other accomplices robbed Rs.13 Lacs cash from an employee of M/s Kanti Telecommunication, 70, Sant Nagar, New Delhi. (FIR No.77/10 u/s 392/394/34 IPC PS C.R. Park.)




  • On 10.07.2010, both these accused alongwith one of their accomplices snatched one laptop from Bhuwan Chand, Accountant of Durga Traders, Laxmibai Nagar, New Delhi. (FIR No.130/10 u/s 356/379 IPC PS Sarojini Nagar.)




  • In the month of April 2010, they had stolen one Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle from the area of Kotla Mubarakpur (FIR No,131/10 u/s 379 IPC, PS K.M. Pur.)


PROFILE:
Rajan is a school dropout and has studied upto 10th Class in Nanital, Uttrakhand. He ran away from his house seven years ago. His means of livelihood is only through the money earned by committing snatching and theft. He has previously been involved in two cases of Arms Act and was released from Jail after undergoing imprisonment of about two years. Beer Singh @ Babu is also a school dropout and has studied upto 7th Class from a Govt.School of C.R Park . Though he has not been arrested previously but he remained actively involved with Rajan in the cases of theft and snatching.

RECOVERY:


  1. One Laptop (Lenova)

  2. Two Motorcycles

  3. Five Mobile Phones

Further investigation of the case is in progress and efforts are being made to ascertain their other involvements and to effect more recoveries.

DESPERATE SNATCHER ARRESTED : 9 CASES OF M/CYCLE THEFT AND SNATCHING SOLVED : 2 MOTORCYCLES, ONE BUTTON ACTUATED KNIFE AND ONE MOBILE PHONE RECOVERED


With the arrest of one desperate autolifter, the South District Police has solved 9 cases of M.V. Thefts and snatching and recovered two stolen motorcycles, one button actuated knife and one mobile phone from him.
ACCUSED ARRESTED:
Sanjay @ Sanju age 23 years s/o Sh Suraj Mal R/o F-149 Gali No. 17 Mittal Colony Pul Prahaladpur Badarpur New Delhi.
INCIDENT & TEAM:
In order to prevent the incidents of M.V. Thefts and Snatching and to apprehend the criminals involved in these incidents, several teams were formed in South District. A special police team consisting of Inspr. Ram Kumar, SI Dalip Kumar PSI Sanjay Sharma, PSI Arvind, PSI Bharat Lal, PSI Kailash, HC Ravinder, HC Hira Lal and Constable Ram Kishan under the supervision of Inspr. Pankaj Singh, SHO/Saket and Shri Mehar Singh, ACP/Hauz Khas was also formed.
ARREST:
The team so formed laid traps and deployed sources to track the criminals involved in such incidents. The efforts of the police team bore fruit when on 11.07.2010 acting upon a secret information, the police team laid a trap at NBCC Plaza Pushp Vihar New Delhi and apprehended above named accused.
From his formal search, one mobile phone snatched from the area of Saket (FIR No. 185/2010 u/s 356/379 IPC P. S Saket) and one button actuated knife were recovered. The motorcycle on which he was riding was having a fake number plate and the said motorcycle was found to be stolen from the area of PS Neb Sarai vide FIR No. 157/2010 U/s 379 IPC. A case vide FIR No. 187/10 U/s 411/482 IPC and 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Saket and he was arrested.
INTERROGATION & MODUS-OPERANDI:
During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused has committed several incidents of M.V. Thefts and Snatching in the areas of Khanpur, Saket, Chawla etc. He has previously been arrested by Sangam Vihar Police in the year 2006 in a case of robbery.

He used to snatch mobiles, chains and other valuables while riding on the stolen motorcycle having fake number plate. Most of the times, he used to commit the crime alone. He used to target the person who used to talk on mobile phone while walking.

RECOVERY:

  1. Two stolen motorcycles.

  2. One button actuated knife

  3. One snatched mobile phone.

Further investigation of the case is in progress and efforts are being made to ascertain his other involvements and to effect more recoveries.

SONIA VIHAR MURDER SOLVED : TWO PRIME ACCUSED INVOLVED IN SENSATIONAL MURDER OF KAMAL ARRESTED BY MEHRAULI POLICE

With the arrest of two prime accused, the South District Police has solved the sensational murder case of young boy Kamal who was brutally murdered and his dead body was found lying in the wee hours of 12th July 2010 in the area of Sonia Vihar.
ACCUSED ARRESTED:


  1. Bacchan Singh Nagar age 23 years s/o Sh. Vishnu Singh R/o H. No. 183, Gali No. 4, Sonia Vihar-II, New Delhi




  1. Umesh age 22 years s/o Sh. Ram Babu R/o A-379, Gali No. 7/3, Sonia Vihar-I, New Delhi


INCIDENT:
I
Both the accused alongwith their other accomplices dragged Kamal in the car from near Nanaksar Gurudwara bus stand and gave him continuous beatings. When, they realized that Kamal had died, they throw the dead body in the street of Sonia Vihar and escape away from the spot. The murder caused a violent reaction among the residents and a crowd caused rampage in the locality of Sonia Vihar and set the property of the accused persons on fire causing a serious law & order situation in the area. A secret information was received by Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, ACP/ Mehrauli that two prime accused wanted in this case are trying to abscond from Delhi. A trap was laid around the Andheria More, Mehrauli and they were apprehended by the Police team on the instance of informer.

n the wee hours of 12th July 2010, dead body of one Kamal was found lying in the street of Sonia Vihar, New Delhi. A case vide FIR No. 88/10 dt. 12.07.10 u/s 365/302/34 IPS was registered at PS Sonia Vihar and investigation taken up. The murder caused a violent reaction among the residents and a crowd caused rampage in the locality of Sonia Vihar and set the property of the accused persons on fire causing a serious law & order situation in the area.
INFORMATION & ARREST:
A secret information was received by Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, ACP/ Mehrauli that two prime accused wanted in sensational murder case of Kamal r/o Sonia Vihar are trying to abscond from Delhi sensing the violent reaction against them by local residents and they had approached one of their relatives in Mehrauli area for arranging money for them. Acting upon the information, a team comprising SI Ashok Kumar, SI Omprakash, HC Ashok Kumar and Constable Sanjeev Kumar was swiftly assigned with the task to zero down the accused persons and to apprehend them with the help of informer.
A trap was laid around the Andheria More, Mehrauli in wait of Bacchan Nagar and Umesh after due diligence of the circumstances. At about 9:15 PM on 13.07.10 both Bacchan Nagar and his friend Umesh reached at the Bus Stand, Near Andheria More where they were apprehended by the Police team on the instance of informer.
INTERROGATION:
During the course of interrogation, it was revealed that they had old dispute with deceased Kamal. On 12th July, they alongwith their other accomplices dragged Kamal in the car from near Nanaksar Gurudwara bus stand and gave him continuous beatings. When, they realized that Kamal had died, they throw the dead body in the street of Sonia Vihar and escape away from the spot. It was further revealed that had come at Andheria More, Mehrauli for collecting some money to run away from Delhi to avoid their arrest in the case.
PROFILE:
Bacchan Singh Nagar has studied up to 12th class from Sarvodaya Bal Vidhyalaya, Khajuri Khas. He is presently engaged in travel business under the name & style of Nagar Travels form his residence in Sonia Vihar. His father is an Ex-Havaldar from Army. He owns one Wagon-R car for rent purpose and mostly depends on the commission based business. He has previously been involved in a criminal case involving quarrel with his neighbours in the year 2008.
Umesh is pursuing BCA from Sikkim Manipal University at Kamla Nagar Study Centre. He earns his livelihood by giving private tuition from his own home in Sonia Vihar. His father is a tailor by profession. Umesh used to come to teach brother of Bacchan Nagar at his home as he had friendship with Bacchan Nagar.
Both the accused persons have been booked u/s 41(1) (a) CrPC in PS Mehrauli and they shall be arrested by Sonia Vihar Police in the case FIR No. 88/10 dt. 12.07.10 u/s 365,302,34 IPS stand registered at PS Sonia Vihar for murder of Kamal after taking them on remand form the Court.

NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL NABBED – WANTED IN A CASE OF ROBBERY OF A TRUCK CARRYING DRY FRUITS OF PS USMAN PUR
On 14.07.10, ASI Sri Ram along with Ct. Virender Singh and Ct. Sarvan Kumar were performing patrolling near MCD Parking, Asaf Ali Road. At about 6 PM, they noticed a suspicious person who on seeing the police staff tried to escape but he was apprehended by the police staff and on his cursory search, one country made pistol along with one live cartridge was recovered from his possession. He was identified as Mohd. Irfan @ Sameer @ Billi s/o Mohd. Iqbal r/o Vill. Jassi Gari, Loni, Ghaziabad, UP. Consequently, a case vide FIR No. 166/10 u/s 25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Darya Ganj.
On verification of his antecedents, it was revealed that he was previously also involved in 10 cases of robbery, arms act etc. He was wanted in a case of looting a truck carrying dry fruits from the area of PS New Usman Pur. Further, he was also learnt to be a Proclaimed Offender in a case of Arms Act case of PS Seelam Pur.

ORDER
Whereas a large number of complaints are being received that people purchasing liquor from liquor vends often start consuming the same in front of the liquor vend and at other public places. Vendors selling eatables and juices, at time, also station themselves unauthorizedly outside liquor vends which further facilitates this undesirable activity. At times, Baratis accompany Barat also openly drink liquor, etc. on the roads while the Barats are moving. Drinking in public is a nuisance with a serious potential to result in brawls and quarrels causing serious injuries/death and damage to public and private and private property. This affects the peace and tranquillity of the area and creates problems in maintaining law and order. It is also a punishable offence under section 68 of The Punjab Excise Act. ( as extended to Delhi)


  1. And whereas it is necessary to take speedy measures in this regard to prevent danger to human life or safety and to thwart/ prevent un-toward incidents which may affect the peace and tranquillity of the area.

  2. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 144 Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi’s Notification No. U-11036/1/2008 UTL dated26.11.2008, I H.G.S. Dhaliwal, Dy. Commissioner of Police, South District, New Delhi do hereby make this written order for strict compliance by the owners of such liquor vends in the area of South District, New Delhi:-




  1. Install CCTV with sufficient number of cameras and recording system to cover up to 50 meters area in front of the shop. The CCTV should monitor anyone consuming liquor or facilitating consumption of liquor or any unauthorized vendor stationed in the coverage area.

  2. This CCTV system should become operational within 45 days from the date of issue of this order.

  3. The recording system shall preserve a digital record of CCTV coverage for not less not 10 days.

  4. The vend owner or his agent shall cause to copy the CCTV coverage on a CD on a daily basis which shall then be handed over to the Beat Constable of the area, against proper receipt in a register to be maintained at the liquor vend.

  5. Before starting sales for the day, the Manager of the liquor vend should ensure that the CCTV system is in proper working order and in case any defect is noticed, immediate action to get it rectified should be taken. An entry should be sent to the Police Station simultaneously to be got duly received from the Duty made in the register and intimation in writing should be sent to the Police Station simultaneously to be got duly received from the Duty Officer of the Police Station mentioning Daily Dairy Number on the intimation.

  6. During the course of monitoring of the CCTV System, the Manager or anyone specifically designated by the Manager for real time monitoring of the CCTV shall immediately inform the Police Control Room at telephone No. 100 and also the nearest Police Station in case any illegal drinking in public or unauthorized vendor is noticed in the CCTV coverage area.

  7. The vend owner shall display prominently at least two bilingual sign boards mentioning that drinking in public places is an offence and standing of unauthorized vendors outside the liquor shop is strictly prohibited. Telephone number of nearest Police Station shall also be mentioned on the sign boards.




  1. The order shall come into force with effect from 13.07.2010 and shall remain in force for a period of 60 days i.e. up to 10.09.2010 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

  2. Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.

  3. As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is hereby passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of public through the Press and by affixing copies on the Notice Boards of the office of all District DCsP, Addl.DCsP, ACsP, Tehsil Offices, all Police Stations concerned and the offices of the NDMC and MCD.

An entry should be made in the register and intimation in writing should be sent to the Police Station simultaneously to be got duly received from the Duty Officer of the Police Station mentioning Daily Diary Number on the intimation.
f) During the course of monitoring of the CCTV System, the Manager or anyone specifically designated by the Manager for real time monitoring of the CCTV shall immediately inform the Police Control Room at telephone No.100 and also the nearest Police Station in case any illegal drinking in public or unauthorised vendor is noticed in the CCTV coverage area.
g) The vend owner shall display prominently at least two bilingual sign boards mentioning that drinking in public places is an offence and standing of unauthorized vendors outside the liquor shop is strictly prohibited. Telephone number of nearest Police Station shall also be mentioned on the sign boards.
4. The Order shall come into force with effect from 12.07.2010 and shall remain in force for a period of 60 days i.e. upto 09.09.2010 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.
5. Any person contravening this Order shall be punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
6. As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is hereby passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of public through the Press and by affixing copies on the Notice Boards of the Office of all Districts DCsP, Addl. DCsP, ACsP, Tehsil Offices, all Police Stations concerned and the offices of the NDMC and MCD.

REWARDED AND WANTED SHARP SHOOTER IN DOUBLE MURDER CASE OF LONI (U.P.) : ARRESTED

 

Chahat s/o Shri Dharamver r/o Vill. Rajpur, Loni, Distt, Gaziabad,U.P., the sharp shooter, carrying a reward of Rs. 5000/- from SSP/ Gaziabad , (U.P.) ,wanted in case FIR No. 571/10 u/s 302/120-B IPC PS Loni in double murder case of Sanjeev @ Tota and Prakash Chand Khanna , of PS. Loni, Distt. Gaziabad U.P., was arrested by AATS/NE and recovered one country made pistol loaded along with one live cartridge from his possession.



 

TEAM AND INCIDENT

 

A double murder was occurred in the area of Dhari pur Mod, Loni, in which dead bodies of Sanjeev Sharma @ Tota and Prakash Chand Khanna were found in a car after sustaining gun shot injuries. During investigation by U.P. Police, the four accused persons have already been arrested and Chahat was absconding, on which SSP/Gaziabad had declared a reward of Rs 5000/- for his arrest.



 

On a secret information under the supervision of ACP/Operation /NE Shri Syed Shakir Hasan and under the close supervision of Insp Arun Chauhan AATS/NE and SI Lokendra a team comprising of SI Shelendra , Hc Pramod No.753/NE and Ct Narendra No. 573/NE , Ct Satendra 994/NE and Ct Rajeev 980/NE, was constituted and the accused Chahat s/o Shri Dharamver r/o Vill. Rajpur, Loni, Distt, Gaziabad,U.P., was arrested from Metro Wall, Shastri Park , Seelampur and one country made pistol loaded along with one live cartridge was also recovered.

 

INTERROGATION

 

On interrogation, he disclosed his role in the murder case along with his associates.
